Clinic description:

In this on-course clinic, we will split into two groups and walk a few holes of Jackson Park’s short course. Participants will try different shots – covering uneven lies, reading greens, short game shots/club selection and recovery shots. The groups will be set according to level of experience. Come prepared with questions to make the most of your time. The fee includes access to the entire facility (putting, chipping, grass short game area, covered range equipped with heaters and top tracer), range balls, clubs if needed and all teaching aids. So come early or stay late and enjoy your time at Jackson Park.

Class minimum/maximum 6 – 8 students

Instructor:
Patty Curtiss, LPGA Professional and Director of Instruction at Jackson Park Golf Course. 

Patty has a unique blend of experience teaching and coaching golf. As a former Division 1, and all conference golfer at the University of New Mexico, Patty chose a career in Sports Medicine and worked with many collegiate athletes. In 1998, Patty joined the LPGA and worked as a dual credentialed golf professional in Palm Springs, where she founded Golf Rehab, a medically directed golf instruction program.

Patty grew up in Tacoma and returned to Seattle in 2018. She remains actively involved with the Washington Junior Golf Association and has been coaching the best junior players in the state for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys people and teaching and will help you improve all aspects of your game.

Patty is an LPGA Life Member, Retired Athletic Trainer and certified club fitter for Ping.

Known for his patience, understanding, and friendly demeanor, Jake creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere for his students. He believes in keeping instruction simple and personalized, working closely with each student to develop a tailored improvement program aligned with their golfing goals.

Clinic Description: Every shot counts! In this clinic we will be covering putting lies and speed control as well as chipping from different types of lies. Anything inside 30 yards and in is where we can always gain a little more confidence to enjoy playing even more. This clinic is great for all skill levels! Please bring your wedges (SW, PW, LW) and a putter.

Instructor Biography:
Grace grew up in San Jose, California where she started playing golf when she was nine and competed in numerous USGA, AJGA, and other national junior tournaments. She received a scholarship to play college golf at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and finished her collegiate career setting school records for best-stroke averages in a season (72.16) and career (74.59).
After graduating, Grace began her career at Moffett Field Golf Club in Mountain View, California and coached both the boys and girls golf teams at Cupertino High School. She later became the assistant coach for the University of Toledo Women’s golf team while also working at Toledo Country Club. Most recently, Grace returned to the West Coast as an assistant golf professional at Sand Point Country Club in Seattle.
Grace is very passionate about teaching golf after years of giving private/group instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Grace is now a PGA Class A Professional and hopes to bring her diverse playing and teaching experiences to Echo Falls.

Clinic description: Almost 65% of our golf score depends on Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Distance Wedge game. We will cover set up, technique and performance mindset for putting, chipping and pitching so with practice you can be confident you can score around the greens. Good for all skill levels.

Bring your putter, 9 iron and all wedges (PW, SW, LW). We will be training indoors utilizing state of the art Trackman and video so you can practice technique, see your videos and implement the feedback to improve. Bio: Joanne Foreman, Class A LPGA Professional at PNW Golf Centers and The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge, 2023 LPGA Teacher of the Year (Western Section) and an LPGA Top 50 Best Teacher.

Joanne is a Class A LPGA Teaching Professional who attended Stanford University on a full golf scholarship. As a collegiate player she won the Stanford Invitational and the 1983 WCAA Conference Championship. Highlights of her amateur golf career include becoming the US Amateur Champion in 1983, Western Amateur Champion in 1984 and a member of the 1984 US Curtis Cup Team. Joanne began her professional career in 1985 when she qualified on her first attempt for the LPGA Tour. After competing for 5 years on the LPGA Tour as well as the European Tour and Japan LPGA, she retired to the Redmond area to start her family and begin her teaching and coaching career at Sahalee CC. Joanne has built her career as a Peak Performance Specialist in three distinct areas: Sports/Golf Performance, Certified Nutrition Coaching, and Leadership Development. Clinic Description: Learn and improve basic golf stance and swing motions. Redwood Golf Center, family owned for over 25 years, is a double decker range fit with 35 heated stalls on the lower level and 25 stalls on the top level. 
Instructor Biography:
Grace grew up in San Jose, California where she started playing golf when she was nine and competed in numerous USGA, AJGA, and other national junior tournaments. She received a scholarship to play college golf at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and finished her collegiate career setting school records for best-stroke averages in a season (72.16) and career (74.59).
After graduating, Grace began her career at Moffett Field Golf Club in Mountain View, California and coached both the boys and girls golf teams at Cupertino High School. She later became the assistant coach for the University of Toledo Women’s golf team while also working at Toledo Country Club. Most recently, Grace returned to the West Coast as an assistant golf professional at Sand Point Country Club in Seattle.
Grace is very passionate about teaching golf after years of giving private/group instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Grace is now a PGA Class A Professional and hopes to bring her diverse playing and teaching experiences to Echo Falls.

Course Description: A classic layout that offers challenges to the best players, while at the same time a venue for all to play. The front nine meanders alongside Longfellow Creek. It has relatively flat terrain and plays to a par of 37. The back nine plays more difficult to par (35) than the front despite being almost 300 yards shorter. You will experience countless uneven lies as the back nine is hilly. It boasts incredible views from several holes of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay. West Seattle GC was designed by famed Architect & accomplished player, H. Chandler Egan.

It’s easy to walk with short distances between greens and tee boxes, but you can relax and ride in one of the 48 golf cars in our fleet.

  • We have secured bus transportation to and from the Course. The bus will depart the Ash Way Park n Ride, Lynnwood promptly at 7:30am. Don’t be late – the bus will leave without you!
  • The foursomes will be picked at random on the bus, giving you the opportunity to play with an old friend or meet a new one.
  • We’ll have fun games on the bus, great snacks and drinks!

19th Hole Social: We will meet at the Course restaurant afterwards for lunch. Note: Some, not all beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) are included in the overall cost but are available for purchase.
